In Thursday's league contest, the visiting Liberty Preparatory Christian Academy Patriots basketball team scored a big 57-32 triumph over the Providence Classical Paladins.

The Patriots (9-8) will now prepare for their contest against Statesville Christian (Statesville, NC). The Lions go into the non-league contest with a 11-8 record. In their last contest, Statesville Christian smashed Cornerstone Christian Academy (Statesville, NC), 71-45, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Paladins battle the HOPE Academy Royals (Concord, NC) in a CSAA contest, on Tuesday, January 28. Providence Classical will attempt to better on its 6-9 season record. The Royals go into the contest with a 0-3 record after their 56-44 league loss to NorthPoint Christian Academy (Waxhaw, NC).
