In Thursday's league contest, the visiting Lincoln Lions basketball team scored a good 56-46 triumph over the Smithfield Sentinels.
The Lions (9-6) will now prepare for their contest against Johnston (Johnston, RI). The Panthers go into the Division I contest with a 0-12 record. In their last contest, Johnston was topped by East Greenwich (East Greenwich, RI), 59-39, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Sentinels confront the North Kingstown Skippers (North Kingstown, RI) in a Division I contest, on Saturday, January 25. Smithfield will attempt to better on its 2-9 season record. The Skippers go into the contest with a 5-7 record after their 68-49 league loss to Bishop Hendricken (Warwick, RI).
