Tennessee High School Basketball - University nips Memphis Rise Academy

In Thursday's non-league contest, the visiting University Tigers basketball team scored a close 43-42 win over the Memphis Rise Academy .
Next, the Tigers encounter the Middle College Bulldogs (Memphis, TN) in a 1A District 15 test, on Friday, January 24. University will attempt to improve on its 9-7 season record. The Bulldogs come into the test with a 11-6 record after their 57-44 league loss to Memphis Academy of Science and Engineering (Memphis, TN).
The (9-6) will now prepare for their test against Trezevant (Memphis, TN). The Bears come into the 2A District 15 test with a 1-14 record. In their last test, Trezevant was nipped by Memphis Business Academy (Memphis, TN), 82-63, in a league test.
