In Thursday's non-league contest, the host Midway/Minto Mustangs basketball team scored a good 73-62 triumph over the North Star co-op [Cando/Bisbee-Egeland/Munich/Starkweather] Bearcats.
The Mustangs (8-1) will now prepare for their contest against Dakota Prairie (Petersburg, ND). The Knights go into the non-league contest with a 0-0 record.
In their next game, the Bearcats confront the Griggs County Central/Midkota Cougars (Cooperstown, ND) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, January 25. North Star co-op [Cando/Bisbee-Egeland/Munich/Starkweather] will attempt to better on its 2-5 season record.
