The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Sequoyah Eagles (Claremore, OK) and the host Vinita Hornets (Vinita, OK), observed Sequoyah's basketball team overcome Vinita by a score of 62-45.
The Eagles (14-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Mannford (Mannford, OK). The Pirates come into the non-league challenge with a 6-6 record. In their last challenge, Mannford defeated Cushing (Cushing, OK), 52-51, in a league challenge.
