California High School Soccer - St. Augustine knocks off El Cajon Valley

The St. Augustine Saints soccer squad scored 8 points and held the visiting El Cajon Valley Braves to 1 in the Saints league victory on Thursday.

The Saints now hold a 10-2 record. They play next when they travel to Monte Vista for a bout on Saturday, January 25. St. Augustine will play a Monarchs squad coming off a 8-0 non-league win over Steele Canyon (Spring Valley, CA). The Monarchs record now stands at 1-3.

With the loss, El Cajon Valley moves to 1-6 on the year. The Braves host La Jolla (La Jolla, CA) to play the Vikings in a bout on Saturday, January 25. The Vikings go into the bout with a record of 2-5. La Jolla 2-2 in their recent non-league bout against Sage Creek (Carlsbad, CA)
