The Lions (12-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Russell (Russell, KY). The Red Devils come into the non-league challenge with a 13-3 record. In their last challenge, Russell prevailed over Raceland (Raceland, KY), 57-51, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Comets battle the Bath County Wildcats (Owingsville, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 28. West Carter will attempt to improve on its 6-9 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 3-13 record after their 60-45 non-league loss to Scott County (Georgetown, KY).
