The Carthage Tigers (Carthage, MO) basketball edged the host Pittsburg Dragons (Pittsburg, KS), 35-28 in Thursday's non-league bout.
The Tigers now possess a 8-6 record. They play next when they travel to Olathe North for a non-league bout on Saturday, January 25. Carthage will play a Eagles team coming off a 54-40 non-league win over Webster Groves (Webster Groves, MO). The Eagles record now stands at 6-4.
