The Monroe Central Golden Bears (Parker City, IN) basketball crushed the visiting Cowan Blackhawks (Muncie, IN), 58-17 in Thursday's league bout.

The Golden Bears now possess a 15-5 record. They play next when they host Union County for a non-league bout on Saturday, January 25. Monroe Central will play a Patriots team coming off a 31-19 league loss to Northeastern (Fountain City, IN). The Patriots record now stands at 11-6.
