The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Crestview Cougars (Ashland, OH) and the host Crestline Bulldogs (Crestline, OH), observed Crestview's basketball team overwhelm Crestline by a score of 52-17.

The Cougars (8-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Mapleton (Ashland, OH). The Mounties come into the Firelands challenge with a 13-4 record. In their last challenge, Mapleton trounced Black River (Sullivan, OH), 48-6, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Bulldogs encounter the Central Christian Comets (Kidron, OH) in a Mid-Buckeye challenge, on Friday, January 24. Crestline will attempt to improve on its 2-13 season record. The Comets come into the challenge with a 8-6 record after their 58-19 league loss to Mansfield Christian (Mansfield, OH).
