In Thursday's non-league contest, the visiting Don Soffer Aventura Barracuda basketball team scored a good 34-21 triumph over the FAU High Owls.
The Barracuda (5-7) will now prepare for their contest against Immaculata-La Salle (Miami, FL). The Royal Lions go into the non-league contest with a 14-4 record. In their last contest, Immaculata-La Salle was toppled by Gulliver Prep (Miami, FL), 54-45, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Owls confront the Lake Worth Trojans (Lake Worth, FL) in a non-league contest, on Monday, January 27. FAU High will attempt to better on its 2-11 season record. The Trojans go into the contest with a 5-10 record after their 38-31 league win over Leonard (Greenacres, FL).
