The East Hampton Bellringers (East Hampton, CT) basketball crushed the host Portland Highlanders (Portland, CT), 57-26 in Thursday's league bout.
The Bellringers now possess a 5-5 record. They play next when they travel to Cromwell for a Shoreline bout on Monday, January 27. East Hampton will play a Panthers team coming off a 43-37 league win over Old Lyme (Old Lyme, CT). The Panthers record now stands at 7-7.
With the loss, Portland falls to 1-11 on the campaign. The Highlanders host Old Lyme (Old Lyme, CT) to play the Wildcats in a Shoreline bout on Monday, January 27. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 4-6. Old Lyme lost 43-37 in their recent league bout against Cromwell (Cromwell, CT)
