The Shakamak Lakers were victorious over the visiting Eastern Greene Thunderbirds basketball squad by a final score of 41-32 in Thursday's league outing.
Next, the Lakers clash with the Barr-Reeve Vikings (Montgomery, IN) in a non-league outing, on Saturday, January 25. Shakamak will attempt to upgrade on its 12-8 season record. The Vikings enter the outing with a 11-7 record after their 76-34 league loss to South Knox (Vincennes, IN).
The Thunderbirds (4-14) will now prepare for their outing against Eminence (Eminence, IN). The Eels enter the non-league outing with a 16-5 record. In their last outing, Eminence ran past Cloverdale (Cloverdale, IN), 38-35, in a non-league outing.
