The Sacred Heart Academy (Hamden, CT) basketball edged the host Fitch Falcons (Groton, CT), 48-45 in Thursday's non-league bout.

The now possess a 10-1 record. They play next when they travel to Law for a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 28. Sacred Heart Academy will play a Lawmen team coming off a 56-46 non-league win over Guilford (Guilford, CT). The Lawmen record now stands at 9-4.

With the loss, Fitch falls to 5-5 on the campaign. The Falcons travel to New London (New London, CT) to play the Whalers in a Eastern Connecticut - 1 bout on Saturday, January 25. The Whalers go into the bout with a record of 3-7.
