The Guthrie Bluejays basketball squad (Guthrie, OK), was crushed 61-18 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host Kingfisher Yellowjackets (Kingfisher, OK)
With the victory, Kingfisher advances its record to 13-3 on the year. The Yellowjackets host Woodward (Woodward, OK) to meet the Boomers in a Western battle on Friday, January 24. The Boomers enter the battle with a record of 8-4.
The Bluejays now own a 0-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Perkins-Tryon for a non-league battle on Friday, January 24. Guthrie will meet a Demons squad coming off a 43-19 league win over Sperry (Sperry, OK). The Demons record now stands at 10-3.
