The Loudoun County Captains basketball squad scored 42 points and held the host Rock Ridge Phoenix to 38 in the Captains non-league victory on Thursday.

With the victory, Loudoun County advances its record to 7-8 on the year. The Captains travel to Lightridge (Aldie, VA) to face the Bolts in a non-league match on Saturday, January 25. The Bolts enter the match with a record of 11-3. Lightridge won 57-40 in their recent league match against Briar Woods (Ashburn, VA)

The Phoenix now own a 2-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Tuscarora for a Dulles match on Monday, January 27. Rock Ridge will face a Huskies squad coming off a 65-41 non-league loss to Woodgrove (Purcellville, VA). The Huskies record now stands at 1-12.
