In Thursday's non-league contest, the visiting Mansfield Christian Flames basketball team scored a big 51-20 win over the Plymouth Big Red.
The Flames (12-3) will now prepare for their contest against Northmor (Galion, OH). The Golden Knights come into the non-league contest with a 6-11 record. In their last contest, Northmor was trounced by Fredericktown (Fredericktown, OH), 49-32, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Big Red battle the Monroeville Eagles (Monroeville, OH) in a Firelands contest, on Saturday, January 25. Plymouth will attempt to better on its 5-10 season record. The Eagles come into the contest with a 11-6 record after their 60-59 non-league loss to Seneca East (Attica, OH).
