Utah High School Basketball - Monument Valley nips Many Farms

The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Monument Valley Cougars (Monument Valley, UT) and the visiting Many Farms Lobos (Many Farms, AZ), observed Monument Valley's basketball team edge Many Farms by a score of 46-41.
The Cougars (8-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Pinnacle (Price, UT). The Panthers come into the 1A Region 19 challenge with a 8-11 record. In their last challenge, Pinnacle was tipped by Logan (Logan, UT), 34-29, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Lobos battle the Pinon Eagles (Pinon, AZ) in a 2A North challenge, on Saturday, January 25. Many Farms will attempt to improve on its 15-7 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 9-13 record after their 39-31 league loss to Hopi (Keams Canyon, AZ).
