In Thursday's non-league contest, the host Minnesota Valley Lutheran Chargers basketball team scored a good 74-55 triumph over the Medford Tigers.
The Chargers (12-6) will now prepare for their contest against Maple River (Mapleton, MN). The Eagles go into the AA Section 2 contest with a 13-17 record.
In their next game, the Tigers confront the Triton Cobras (Dodge Center, MN) in a non-league contest, on Friday, January 24. Medford will attempt to better on its 0-16 season record. The Cobras go into the contest with a 14-2 record after their 71-33 non-league win over Kenyon-Wanamingo (Kenyon, MN).
