The Eagle Mustangs basketball team scored 48 points and limited the visiting Mountain View Mavericks to 35 in the Mustangs league triumph on Thursday.

The Mustangs now have a 1-0 record. They play next when they travel to Kuna for a game on Saturday, January 25. Eagle will confront a Kavemen team coming off a 43-16 league loss to Timberline (Boise, ID). The Kavemen record now stands at 8-2.

With the loss, Mountain View falls to 12-2 on the campaign. The Mavericks host Ridgevue (Nampa, ID) to confront the Warhawks in a game on Friday, January 24. The Warhawks go into the game with a record of 5-6. Ridgevue won 38-27 in their recent league game against Capital (Boise, ID)
