The Owatonna Huskies ice hockey team scored 5 points and held the visiting Austin Packers to 1 in the Huskies league victory on Thursday.
The Huskies now own a 7-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mayo for a Big 9 bout on Saturday, January 25. Owatonna will play a Spartans team coming off a 3-1 league win over Red Wing (Red Wing, MN). The Spartans record now stands at 3-9.
With the defeat, Austin moves to 9-5 on the season. The Packers travel to Red Wing (Red Wing, MN) to play the Wingers in a Big 9 bout on Saturday, January 25. The Wingers go into the bout with a record of 1-12. Red Wing lost 3-1 in their recent league bout against Mayo (Rochester, MN)
