The Grand Rapids Thunderhawks ice hockey team scored 6 points and held the visiting Brainerd Warriors to 0 in the Thunderhawks non-league victory on Thursday.

The Thunderhawks now own a 9-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Thomas Academy for a non-league bout on Saturday, January 25. Grand Rapids will play a Cadets team coming off a 9-0 non-league win over South St. Paul (South St. Paul, MN). The Cadets record now stands at 14-2.

With the defeat, Brainerd moves to 2-13 on the season. The Warriors host Denfeld (Duluth, MN) to play the Hunters in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 25. The Hunters go into the bout with a record of 4-7. Denfeld won 6-4 in their recent non-league bout against Little Falls (Little Falls, MN)
