The crowd at Thursday's league challenge between the Chowchilla Tribe (Chowchilla, CA) and the host Caruthers Blue Raiders (Caruthers, CA), observed Chowchilla's basketball team overwhelm Caruthers by a score of 61-21.

The Tribe (15-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Liberty (Madera, CA). The Hawks come into the challenge with a 0-2 record. In their last challenge, Liberty was routed by Sanger West (Fresno, CA), 65-36, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Blue Raiders encounter the Yosemite Badgers (Oakhurst, CA) in a challenge, on Friday, January 31. Caruthers will attempt to improve on its 5-6 season record.
