South Mountain Jaguars (Phoenix, AZ) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the host Cortez Colts (Phoenix, AZ), 3-1 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, South Mountain moves its record to 8-3 on the campaign. The Jaguars travel to Browne (Phoenix, AZ) to clash with the Bruins in a 6A Metro test on Thursday, January 30. The Bruins come into the test with a record of 7-8.

The Colts now sport a 5-6 record. They take the field next when they host Coronado for a 4A Black Canyon test on Wednesday, January 29.
