Lafayette Commodores (Oxford, MS) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the visiting Itawamba Agricultural Indians (Fulton, MS), 3-0 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Lafayette moves its record to 13-8 on the campaign. The Commodores host Tupelo Christian Prep (Belden, MS) to clash with the Eagles in a non-league test on Friday, January 24. The Eagles come into the test with a record of 2-7.

The Indians now sport a 15-6 record. They take the field next when they host South Pontotoc for a non-league test on Monday, January 27. Itawamba Agricultural will clash with a Cougars team coming off a 11-0 non-league loss to New Albany (New Albany, MS). The Cougars record now stands at 3-14.
