In Friday's league bout, the Immaculate Mustangs (Danbury, CT) basketball team edged the visiting Pomperaug Panthers (Southbury, CT), by a tally of 57-50.
The Mustangs now possess a 4-7 record. They play next when they travel to Newtown for a Southwest bout on Tuesday, January 27. Immaculate will play a Nighthawks team coming off a 67-62 non-league win over Kolbe (Bridgeport, CT). The Nighthawks record now stands at 8-5.
With the loss, Pomperaug falls to 2-8 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Stratford (Stratford, CT) to encounter the Red Devils in a Southwest challenge on Tuesday, January 27. The Red Devils come into the challenge with a record of 10-3. Stratford won 82-36 in their recent league challenge against Brookfield (Brookfield, CT)
