In Monday's league outing, the South Whidbey Falcons (Langley, WA) basketball squad felled the host Granite Falls Tigers (Granite Falls, WA), by a margin of 42-30.
The Falcons (4-6) will now prepare for their outing against Sultan (Sultan, WA). The Turks go into the 1A Emerald Sound outing with a 12-2 record. In their last outing, Sultan thwarted Northwest (Seattle, WA), 46-28, in a league outing.
The Tigers now own a 1-5 record. They play next when they travel to Forest Ridge Sacred Heart for a 1A Emerald Sound outing on Wednesday, January 26. Granite Falls will encounter a Raven squad coming off a 49-27 league loss to South Whidbey (Langley, WA). The Raven record now stands at 3-4.
