The North Panola Cougars basketball team (Sardis, MS), was routed 79-29 in Monday's non-league battle with the visiting Pontotoc Warriors (Pontotoc, MS)
The Warriors now sport a 20-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Houston for a 4A Region 2 battle on Tuesday, January 25. Pontotoc will battle a Hilltoppers team coming off a 56-16 league loss to Ripley (Ripley, MS). The Hilltoppers record now stands at 8-10.
The Cougars (3-7) will now prepare for their battle against Independence (Independence, MS). The Wildcats come into the 3A Region 2 battle with a 12-8 record.
