Fans at Monday's league challenge between the Pierce Bears (Arbuckle, CA) and the visiting Live Oak Lions (Live Oak, CA), saw Pierce's basketball squad knock off Live Oak by a count of 56-40.
With the victory, Pierce upgrades its record to 9-11 on the campaign. The Bears host Colusa (Colusa, CA) to play the RedHawks in a challenge on Wednesday, January 26. The RedHawks come into the challenge with a record of 13-1.
Next up, the Lions play the Durham Trojans (Durham, CA) in a challenge, on Wednesday, January 26. Live Oak will attempt to upgrade on its 5-6 season record.
