South Dakota High School Basketball - Alcester-Hudson can't hold off Scotland

The Scotland Highlanders basketball team scored 47 points and held the visiting Alcester-Hudson Cubs to 46 in the Highlanders league triumph on Tuesday.

The Highlanders now sport a 4-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Wagner for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 26. Scotland will battle a Red Raiders team coming off a 76-40 league loss to Mt. Vernon/Plankinton (Mt. Vernon, SD). The Red Raiders record now stands at 4-6.

The Cubs (3-10) will now prepare for their contest against St. Mary (Dell Rapids, SD). The Cardinals enter the non-league contest with a 8-2 record. In their last contest, St. Mary nudged Deubrook (White, SD), 71-57, in a non-league contest.
