Michigan High School Basketball - Fairview ripped by Alcona

The Alcona Tigers basketball team scored 70 points and held the host Fairview Eagles to 32 in the Tigers league triumph on Tuesday.

The Tigers now sport a 6-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Heston Academy for a North Star contest on Friday, January 27. Alcona will battle a Patriots team coming off a 55-29 league win over Atlanta (Atlanta, MI). The Patriots record now stands at 7-3.

The Eagles (1-9) will now prepare for their contest against Atlanta (Atlanta, MI). The Huskies enter the North Star contest with a 1-9 record. In their last contest, Atlanta was routed by Heston Academy (St. Helen, MI), 55-29, in a league contest.
