The Ames Little Cyclones basketball team scored 49 points and held the visiting Lincoln Railsplitters to 47 in the Little Cyclones non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Little Cyclones now sport a 8-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cedar Falls/Valley Lutheran for a non-league contest on Friday, January 27. Ames will meet a team coming off a 64-50 league win over Hoover (Des Moines, IA). The record now stands at 7-3.
