In Tuesday's non-league match, the host Providence Academy Lions basketball team scored a tight 80-74 triumph over the Apollo Eagles.
In their next game, the Lions meet the Mounds Park Academy Panthers (St. Paul, MN) in a non-league match, on Friday, January 27. Providence Academy will attempt to move on its 3-10 season record.
With the defeat, Apollo moves to 1-10 on the year. The Eagles travel to Rocori (Cold Spring, MN) to meet the Spartans in a AAA Section 8 match on Thursday, January 26. The Spartans enter the match with a record of 6-7. Rocori lost 62-54 in their recent non-league match against Albany (Albany, MN)
