In Tuesday's non-league match, the visiting Aspen Skiers basketball team scored a tight 30-25 triumph over the Vail Mountain Gore Rangers.
In their next game, the Skiers meet the Coal Ridge Titans (New Castle, CO) in a 4A Western Slope match, on Friday, January 27. Aspen will attempt to better on its 7-5 season record. The Titans enter the match with a 8-5 record after their 72-59 league win over Basalt (Basalt, CO).
With the defeat, Vail Mountain moves to 5-5 on the year. The Gore rangers host Meeker (Meeker, CO) to meet the Cowboys in a non-league match on Thursday, January 26. The Cowboys enter the match with a record of 6-4. Meeker lost 60-49 in their recent league match against Cedaredge (Cedaredge, CO)
