The Barnesville Trojans (Barnesville, MN) basketball crushed the visiting Crookston Pirates (Crookston, MN), 88-28 in Tuesday's league test.
The Trojans (8-4) will now prepare for their test against Perham (Perham, MN). The Yellowjackets go into the AA Section 8 test with a 13-1 record. In their last test, Perham walloped Hawley (Hawley, MN), 61-51, in a league test.
The Pirates now own a 6-11 record. They play next when they host Fertile-Beltrami for a non-league test on Friday, January 27. Crookston will encounter a Falcons squad coming off a 78-58 non-league win over Norman County East/Ulen-Hitterdal (Twin Valley, MN). The Falcons record now stands at 11-3.
