Michigan High School Basketball - Beaverton overwhelmed by Valley Lutheran

The Valley Lutheran Chargers basketball team scored 81 points and restricted the host Beaverton Beavers to 38 in the Chargers non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Chargers now sport a 3-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Ithaca for a Tri-Valley - West contest on Friday, January 27. Valley Lutheran will battle a Yellowjackets team coming off a 73-42 league loss to Hemlock (Hemlock, MI). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 6-7.

The Beavers (6-7) will now prepare for their contest against Farwell (Farwell, MI). The Eagles come into the Jack Pine contest with a 1-8 record. In their last contest, Farwell triumphed over Coleman (Coleman, MI), 66-58, in a non-league contest.
