Marian Central Catholic Hurricanes (Woodstock, IL) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Belvidere Bucs (Belvidere, IL), 60-33 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Marian Central Catholic upgrades its record to 11-17 on the campaign. The Hurricanes host Christ the King (Chicago, IL) to play the Gladiators in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 28. The Gladiators come into the bout with a record of 15-7. Christ the King won 104-11 in their recent league bout against Cristo Rey Jesuit (Chicago, IL)

Next up, the Bucs play the Boylan Catholic Titans (Rockford, IL) in a Northern Illinois 10 bout, on Wednesday, January 25. Belvidere will attempt to upgrade on its 4-18 season record. The Titans come into the bout with a 15-8 record after their 62-48 non-league loss to Huntley (Huntley, IL).
