Souhegan Sabers (Amherst, NH) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Bishop Brady Giants (Concord, NH), 60-42 in a league bout.

With the victory, Souhegan upgrades its record to 4-3 on the campaign. The Sabers host Sanborn Regional (Kingston, NH) to play the Indians in a Division II bout on Thursday, January 26. The Indians come into the bout with a record of 2-3.

Next up, the Giants play the Manchester West Blue Knights (Manchester, NH) in a Division II bout, on Thursday, January 26. Bishop Brady will attempt to upgrade on its 2-6 season record. The Blue Knights come into the bout with a 5-3 record after their 61-54 league win over Merrimack Valley (Penacook, NH).
