Scott Eagles (Covington, KY) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Boone County Rebels (Florence, KY), 69-61 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Scott upgrades its record to 9-12 on the season. The Eagles host Campbell County (Alexandria, KY) to play the Camels in a District 37 bout on Friday, January 27. The Camels go into the bout with a record of 13-8. Campbell County won 65-60 in their recent non-league bout against Walton-Verona (Walton, KY)

Next up, the Rebels play the St. Henry Crusaders (Erlanger, KY) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 26. Boone County will attempt to upgrade on its 1-14 season record. The Crusaders go into the bout with a 7-9 record after their 48-41 league win over Dixie Heights (Edgewood, KY).
