The Newton North Tigers basketball team scored 60 points and restricted the visiting Braintree Wamps to 35 in the Tigers non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Tigers now sport a 9-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Walpole for a non-league contest on Friday, January 27. Newton North will battle a Timberwolves team coming off a 62-61 non-league win over Brookline (Brookline, MA). The Timberwolves record now stands at 6-5.

The Wamps (4-8) will now prepare for their contest against Natick (Natick, MA). The Redhawks come into the Bay State - Herget contest with a 5-5 record. In their last contest, Natick was routed by Needham (Needham, MA), 74-53, in a league contest.
