Brearley Bears (Kenilworth, NJ) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Dayton Bulldogs (Springfield, NJ), 71-57 in a league bout.

With the win, Brearley upgrades its record to 4-7 on the season. The Bears travel to Roselle Park (Roselle Park, NJ) to clash with the Panthers in a Mountain Valley - Valley bout on Saturday, January 28. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 5-10.

Next up, the Bulldogs clash with the Johnson Crusaders (Clark, NJ) in a Mountain Valley - Valley bout, on Thursday, January 26. Dayton will attempt to upgrade on its 4-10 season record. The Crusaders go into the bout with a 7-8 record after their 60-58 non-league win over Bernards (Bernardsville, NJ).
