Arizona High School Basketball - Buena over Sabino

Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Buena Colts (Sierra Vista, AZ) and the host Sabino Sabercats (Tucson, AZ), saw Buena's basketball squad overcome Sabino by a tally of 73-54.

With the victory, Buena improves its record to 10-5 on the campaign. The Colts host Cienega (Vail, AZ) to confront the Bobcats in a 5A Sonoran challenge on Thursday, January 26. The Bobcats come into the challenge with a record of 17-5. Cienega won 73-46 in their recent league challenge against Nogales (Nogales, AZ)

Next up, the Sabercats confront the Pusch Ridge Christian Academy Lions (Tucson, AZ) in a 3A South challenge, on Friday, January 27. Sabino will attempt to improve on its 9-11 season record. The Lions come into the challenge with a 10-11 record after their 63-35 league win over Safford (Safford, AZ).
