West Virginia High School Basketball - Cabell Midland can't hold off Hurricane

The Hurricane Redskins basketball team scored 61 points and held the visiting Cabell Midland Knights to 55 in the Redskins league triumph on Tuesday.

The Redskins now sport a 7-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Huntington for a Mountain State contest on Thursday, January 26. Hurricane will battle a Highlanders team coming off a 68-54 league win over St. Albans (St. Albans, WV). The Highlanders record now stands at 12-2.

The Knights (6-6) will now prepare for their contest against Spring Valley (Huntington, WV). The Timberwolves enter the Mountain State contest with a 10-4 record. In their last contest, Spring Valley nudged Riverside (Belle, WV), 68-45, in a league contest.
