The Camp Point Central Panthers basketball team scored 48 points and restricted the visiting Pittsfield Saukees to 29 in the Panthers non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Panthers now sport a 18-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hamilton/Warsaw for a non-league contest on Friday, January 27. Camp Point Central will battle a Titans team coming off a 61-28 non-league win over Astoria/VIT (Astoria, IL). The Titans record now stands at 18-5.

The Saukees (7-11) will now prepare for their contest against PORTA/Ashland-Chandlerville Central (Petersburg, IL). The Bluejays come into the non-league contest with a 14-4 record. In their last contest, PORTA/Ashland-Chandlerville Central prevailed over Athens (Athens, IL), 53-40, in a league contest.
