In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Carrollton Cavaliers (Carrollton, MI) basketball squad nipped the visiting Gladwin Flying G's (Gladwin, MI), by a margin of 57-50.

The Cavaliers (7-4) will now prepare for their bout against Standish-Sterling (Standish, MI). The Panthers go into the non-league bout with a 11-0 record. In their last bout, Standish-Sterling held off Michigan Lutheran Seminary (Saginaw, MI), 58-25, in a non-league bout.

Next up, the Flying G's play the Meridian Mustangs (Sanford, MI) in a Jack Pine bout, on Friday, January 27. Gladwin will attempt to upgrade on its 5-6 season record. The Mustangs go into the bout with a 7-6 record after their 48-36 league loss to Clare (Clare, MI).
