Highland Bulldogs (Highland, IL) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Collinsville Kahoks (Collinsville, IL), 46-43 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Highland upgrades its record to 17-7 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Jersey (Jerseyville, IL) to play the Panthers in a Mississippi Valley bout on Friday, January 27. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 12-10. Jersey lost 58-42 in their recent non-league bout against Edwardsville (Edwardsville, IL)

Next up, the Kahoks play the Belleville West Maroons (Belleville, IL) in a Southwestern bout, on Friday, January 27. Collinsville will attempt to upgrade on its 15-9 season record. The Maroons go into the bout with a 10-11 record after their 57-52 non-league loss to Belleville East (Belleville, IL).
