The Sutherland Sailors basketball team scored 50 points and held the host Creek Valley Storm to 35 in the Sailors non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Sailors now sport a 1-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Kimball for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 26. Sutherland will meet a Longhorns team coming off a 54-52 non-league loss to Hershey (Hershey, NE). The Longhorns record now stands at 4-10.

The Storm (2-9) will now prepare for their contest against Garden County (Oshkosh, NE). The Eagles enter the D2 District 11 contest with a 12-3 record. In their last contest, Garden County ran past South Platte (Big Springs, NE), 66-28, in a non-league contest.
