The Delphian Dragons (Sheridan, OR) basketball knocked off the visiting Gervais Cougars (Gervais, OR), 57-47 in Tuesday's league test.
The Dragons (3-8) will now prepare for their test against Culver (Culver, OR). The Bulldogs go into the 2A Tri-River test with a 2-13 record. In their last test, Culver went down by Chemawa Indian (Salem, OR), 50-48, in a league test.
The Cougars now own a 2-13 record. They play next when they host Willamina for a 2A Tri-River test on Thursday, January 26. Gervais will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 55-51 league loss to Santiam (Mill City, OR). The Bulldogs record now stands at 9-6.
