Des Lacs-Burlington Lakers (Des Lacs, ND) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting South Prairie Royals (Minot, ND), 62-36 in a league bout.
With the win, Des Lacs-Burlington upgrades its record to 8-4 on the season. The Lakers host Mohall/Lansford/Sherwood (Renville, ND) to play the Mavericks in a B Region 6 District 12 bout on Tuesday, January 31. The Mavericks go into the bout with a record of 5-3.
Next up, the Royals play the Stanley Blue Jays (Stanley, ND) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, February 9. South Prairie will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record.
