East Hampton (East Hampton, NY) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Hampton Bays Baymen (Hampton Bays, NY), 72-48 in a league bout.

With the win, East Hampton upgrades its record to 1-1 on the season.

Next up, the Baymen play the Shoreham-Wading River Wildcats (Shoreham, NY) in a Section 11 A-4 bout, on Thursday, January 26. Hampton Bays will attempt to upgrade on its 12-4 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 1-2 record after their 69-37 league loss to Mount Sinai (Mount Sinai, NY).
